Reve – lofts are being modelled

Reve logoYesterday was moving day as model furniture was brought into loft 2 (L2~1300 sq.ft.) at Reve, at Front and Portland. And with the incredible 18 degree weather (in March, in Canada), it was a great day to be in and out. Loft 1 (L1~1190 sq.ft.) had been finished days before, so I was able to get a good look at these unique suites in both the complete and in progress states.

Reve lofts outside

The two lofts at Reve are on the ground and second floor with entrances to Niagara Street and directly across from Victoria Memorial Park.

Both these lofts feel like houses in the city, rather than a typical condo suite. They have doors that open onto quiet, tree-lined Niagara Street as well as entrances into the main Reve building, to access the amenities.

They feature very open spaces that are perfect for entertaining or relaxing. The master bedrooms are afforded extra privacy as they’re located on the second floor with the dens.

Reve loft 1 - both suites feature large open areas perfect for having friends over or kicking back after work.

“I was thinking of designing for a male purchaser who loves a little bit of both modern and the ‘old’ at the same time,” says Tridel Junior Interior Designer, Phoebe Sham, on designing loft 1. “Every piece of furniture is modern, but all the accessories have a vintage, aged element to them. I guess I was thinking about a traveler who loves to collect aged-looking things! This design is definitely for someone who is trendy.”

The loft master bedrooms feature sweeping views of Victoria Memorial Park from floor to ceiling windows and a balcony.

Loft 2 should be completely modeled by Friday and displays a contrasting aesthetic.

“For loft 2, I was thinking of designing for a single female purchaser who enjoys the classic look,” says Phoebe. “I wanted it to feel like a ‘home’, and everything in there is feminine and soft, such as chairs with curves and floral prints. I was inspired by French interiors.”

Both lofts feature 10 foot ceilings on the main floor and 9 foot on the second, with quartz counter tops, pre-engineered wood flooring and modern wood and glass panel rail stairs.

They have smooth ceilings and appliances include Liebherr fridge and freezer; AEG cooktop, stove, microwave and dishwasher; and Whirlpool Cabrio Platinum washer and dryer side by side.

Floorplans and pricing for loft 1 and 2 are on the Reve site.

Visit the presentation centre at 560 Front Street West to tour either of these lofts, the remaining suites at Reve and the fantastic amenities.
