Construction is progressing nicely at One Old Mill, in Bloor West Village. Excavating and shoring is continuing and is now at the P3 level. Footings, which are part of the foundation, should be installed by late July and the crane is expected to be erected by August.
“Things are going very well, there is a lot of water on this site but the site staff is managing it and it has not held us up yet,” says Brian Hull, Project Coordinator. “We should reach the bottom of the garage in July and will start to drill our foundation caissons and then begin to come up with parking structure. We expect to be at grade by late December 2012 or January 2013.”
The presentation centre is currently at 2487 Bloor Street West, but is in the process of being moved. The new presentation centre will open, just across the street at 2487 Bloor Street West, on June 2. You can also call 416-645-7022 for more information.
