We’re rolling out the red carpet this weekend for our return to the Yonge and Eglinton area. This Saturday and Sunday, from 12 to 6pm, will be the grand opening celebrations of the new 101 Erskine presentation centre at 2611 Yonge Street. Official invite here.
In typical Tridel style, we’re going all out. The day will start with a bang as the North Toronto Collegiate Institute’s marching band will perform from their school, then north along Yonge Street, to the presentation centre. NTCI, which had their new school built by Deltera, has the oldest marching band and is one of the very few connected to a high school in Toronto.
There will be catering by celebrity chef Mark McEwan‘s restaurant North 44° at the new presentation centre. North 44°, McEwan’s first restaurant, has been a neighbourhood landmark for over 20 years and is located just a block and half north of Erskine.
Desserts will also be provided by one of Toronto’s best bakeries — Dufflet. Dufflet serves their delicious, high quality sweets at three retail cafes in the city, including one just a block north of the new 101 Erskine presentation centre.
The NTCI marching band will announce the opening at noon sharp this Saturday.
The presentation centre is moving today and will be temporarily closed tomorrow, Friday, September 21.
Hours are Monday to Thursday, from 11am to 7pm, and Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Holidays, from 12 to 6pm. Come by this weekend to join in on the fun or call 416-480-0700 for more information.
