Customer Care Representative

The Customer Care Representative is responsible for meeting the needs of the purchaser throughout the different phases of the home buying experience. They work closely with Project Management, Construction, Sales and Property Management to realize their common goal of creating customers for life.

A significant part of our commitment to purchasers is to keep them well informed on everything relating to their new home. Whether they have questions regarding financial obligations, warranty and maintenance procedures or the legal components of home ownership, Customer Care is there to provide answers, comfort and peace of mind.

There is a full time Tridel Customer Care team at head office. In addition, there are on-site representatives who are dedicated to each project.

Each purchaser is introduced to their respective Customer Care representative shortly after their purchase, so they can work together through the entire after-sales process.

Some of the most important meetings are as follows:

Colour Selections, Electrical and Finishings

After your purchase, Customer Care will set up an electrical/mechanical and colour selection appointment. At this appointment, you will select the features and finishes of your home. Tridel offers a wide selection of high-quality 'standard' finishes, but you will be given the opportunity during these meetings to select personal choice options if you'd like to further customize your home.

You Customer Care representative is there as a resource for advice and recommendations to make the most of your layout and decor.

Home Orientation/ Pre-Delivery Inspection

The home orientation and pre-delivery inspection takes place when your home is nearly completed. At this time the Customer Care Representative will walk you through an orientation and home inspection demonstrating the home's functions and features. Any issues or deficiencies are noted. In most situations the resolution of issues that might present themselves will be handled by the Customer Care Representative well before the purchaser moves-in.

Occupancy Dates

Depending upon the timing of when you purchase your home your occupancy date will be "Tentitive" or "Confirmed". If you purchased prior to construction beginning at your community, your occupancy date will most likely be tentitive and may well change as construction progresses. However as we near the completion of the building, we are able to project the occupancy date with a high degree of accuracy and the date will become confirmed. We endeavor to provide six months notice prior to closing of any date changes.

Closings

When you purchase a condominium you will find that there are two closing dates.
The first date is an interim or escrow occupancy date. This date is when you would take possession or occupancy of your home, prior to you receiving the title.

The second date is the final closing date. This date is issued after the condominium is registered. (Registration means that the description and the declaration of the condominium receive formal approval from the appropriate government authorities.) The closing date is when the purchase is completed and you take title of the property. The final closing typically occurs approximately 4 to 6 weeks after the condominium is registered.

Maintenance Review

This is scheduled once you have settled in to your new home. It ensures that you have working knowledge of all of your home maintenance requirements, including electrical/mechanical items such as your circuit breaker, thermostat, in-suite alarm panel as well as the heating and cooling system. We review any outstanding requests or concerns you might have at this time.
