TARION NAMES TRIDEL ONTARIO HIGH-RISE BUILDER OF THE YEAR

Tarion 2010 Award of Excellence Goes to Tridel For Best Customer Service

Toronto, March 26, 2010 - Tridel® is pleased to announce that it has been awarded the 2010 Award of Excellence from Tarion Warranty Corporation, for customer service performance in the high rise home builder category. The Tarion Awards of Excellence are the only awards which recognize home builders from across Ontario exclusively for their after-sales customer service performance.

This is the third consecutive Tarion Award for Tridel, and the eleventh time the company has been named Ontario High-Rise Builder of the Year.

"The Tarion Award for Ontario's High-Rise Builder of the Year is selected exclusively by homebuyers, and, as such, its one of the most prestigious awards a residential developer can receive," says Danielle Feidler, Tridel's Vice President, Customer Care. "We are honoured to have been selected for this important distinction by this year's new home and condominium buyers and we are grateful, once again to receive this prestigious designation."

To determine the award winners, Tarion distributed a survey to more than 38,000 new home buyers in Ontario who took possession between October 1, 2008 and September 30, 2009. The survey addressed the homeowner/builder relationship, with questions about the agreement of purchase and sale, the construction phase, pre-delivery process and the after-sales service experience.

"There is no better 'litmus test' for good customer service than a happy, satisfied customer," says Tarion President and CEO, Howard Bogach. "Tarion's awards recognize builders for going the extra mile and putting their purchasers first to help ensure they have a positive new home experience.
