Tridel Wins 2006 City of Toronto Green Award for Energy Conservation: On Tuesday, May 2, 2006, Canada's leader builder in condominium living, Tridel, accepted a 2006 Green Toronto Award for energy conservation. Tridel was awarded $5,000 to donate to any environmental organization of its choice. Tridel then announced it would match the $5,000 to award $10,000 in support of Earth Rangers, a programme that focuses on education and inspiring children to respect and take action for the environment.
