THE Softwire™ SOLUTION AT ULTRA OVATION
Every new Ultra Ovation home will have a sophisticated Softwire Network Centre (high-speed wiring connection point) that is fully upgradeable to accept future technologies. The advanced "home run" wiring configuration within your suite will give you greater flexibility and more choices in creating communications and entertainment systems to suit your specific lifestyle. Your suite will be wired with superior (RG6) coaxial cable (for video distribution and cable modems) and Category 5 cable (for telephone, fax and high-speed data distribution). Each principal room in your home will receive one telephone and one cable outlet. One multi-port outlet (a telephone jack and cable connection located on the same faceplate) will be located in one room in your suite. All this creates the Softwire™ solution which gives you clear, fast, and flexible communications technology like never before.Softwire™ has developed two upgrade packages that allow you to customize your home to meet your specific needs.
SOHO (SMALL OFFICE-HOME OFFICE)
Enjoy flexibility in designing your home office.- Use your computer, fax machine, telephone or cable modem - all at once - without disrupting your telephone service or television viewing.
- Additional runs of Category 5 cable and RG6 coaxial cable are run from the building's electrical closet to your suite to allow you two separate "high-speed" options of bringing Internet access to your suite.
SOHO PRO
Designed for the home office professional and the family with multiple computer users. Every room within your suite is wired and ready for a Local Area Network (LAN).- Use your telephone and fax machine while downloading "on line" information through the efficiency of the latest in high-speed Internet access.
- Network up to four PC's in your home to share files or information, share a scanner or printer, or play computer games against each other.
- Watch the hockey game or soap opera at eight different TV locations in your home with clear reliable signals.
