Auberge on the Park Tops Off and Reveals Stunning Views over North York.

Auberge -the first tower in Auberge on the Park community- reaches its full height of 45 storeys.

Driving around Sunnybrook Park or northbound along the DVP, you’d be hard-pressed to miss the distinct Auberge on the Park towers with their  cascading terraces as they climb into the sky. 

The construction teams on site are hard at work and every day is a busy one with three towers actively under construction in this growing community. After more than740 days of continuous labour by over 150 people on site, the team is proudly celebrating Auberge -the first tower in the community to launch- reaching its full height of 45 storeys.    

This milestone is celebrated by the many trades professionals, consultants, and others who have worked tirelessly to bring this new community to its current stage of construction, and we’d like to recognize their achievement. Reaching the full height of a condominium tower is also an important milestone for homeowners as it brings them one step closer towards occupancy of their new home. 

With windows installed to the 28th floor and 70% of the building envelope on Auberge tower one now complete, future residents and architecture lovers can appreciate the descending terraces coming into shape. The onsite teams expect to complete the installation of building envelope in February 2023.

French-Inspired Interiors. 

The community’s French-inspired amenities, including the inviting two-storey lobby, outdoor terrace, party room, fitness centre and more, are starting to take shape with drywall, tilling, and carpentry underway. 

Suites on the third floor are being framed. Framing is a construction technique which involves building a supportive framework  of studs that will become the outline of where the walls will be. Following closely behind, the boarding crew is working on the installation of the drywall sheets onto the steel studs.  

Auberge II. 

Since the tower officially ‘topped off’ in April 2022, construction activity at Auberge II continues to progress well. The team has completed the installation of the precast components, the window installation is nearly finished and should be completed next month in November 2022, and interior suite finishing is ongoing. 

Chateau. 

Since our last Chateau Blog, the tower crane has been installed and the construction team began forming once shoring and excavation were complete. They’ve made significant progress on site, recently passing grade, and are currently working on forming of the third floor. To date, the teams have poured over 15,000 cubic meters of concrete and installed 2,000 tonnes of rebar.
