On Thursday May 9th, the BOLT (Building Opportunities for Life Today) Charitable Foundation hosted its 8th annual Casino Night Fundraiser. Once again, the evening was a fantastic success. More than 800 guests were welcomed to the gala, where the evening was kicked off by Bruno Giancola, Senior VP of Project Management, Innovation and Sustainability at Tridel. Bruno began the night with an overview of the successes the BOLT Program has had since it began, a decade ago, in helping educate and connect youth to careers in construction and construction-related industries. Leo DelZotto, President and CEO of Tridel, and a founding member of the BOLT Program, addressed the audience to thank all those who have offered their steadfast support to the important initiative over the past ten years.
Celebrating 10 Years of BOLT
Following Bruno’s opening and welcome, Michael “Pinball” Clemons, who acted as the evening’s MC, took the stage and kicked off the evening’s festivities. Mr. Clemons spoke to the importance and the rewards of investing in our youth. Guests were also treated to a special performance by local singing artist, Domanique Grant.
The evening also included Silent and Live Auctions, which added a bit of spirited and friendly competition to the evening!
