Celebrating the Season with the Residents of 650 Parliament

On Sunday, December 16, 2018 Tridel, in partnership with Councillor Kristyn Wong-Tam, Hines and community volunteers, members of the Tridel Take Action team joined to celebrate the holiday season with a dinner for 400 residents affected by the 650 Parliament Street fire.

Hosted in the local Wellesley Community Centre, the auditorium was transformed into a festive dining hall, complete with seasonally inspired table settings, a holiday feast and the joyful sounds of a community coming together to celebrate with their community.  Guests were welcomed in two seatings over the course of the evening to enjoy a catered dinner.  After the meal, the residents of 650 Parliament were the happy recipients of generously donated books and gift cards donated by Tridel.  There was even a surprise guest as Mayor John Tory stopped by to show his support and speak with residents.

As a company, we were very proud to participate in helping to make sure this was a memorable and happy holiday season for our neighbours in the Bloor and Parliament neighbourhood.  The joy on the faces of our guests made the evening a success.
