The Tridel at The Well community recently reached full height for two of its residential towers on Front Street – Classic Series I and Classic Series II. The ‘topping off’ of a community, or when we pour the last concrete for the roof, is an exciting achievement for the construction teams, trade professionals, consultants and others who worked to bring the new community to this stage of construction. It’s also an important milestone for homeowners as it marks the end of forming and brings them one step closer to occupancy of their new home.
With 80% of the building envelope complete at Classic Series I and 85% of the envelope complete at Classic Series II, homeowners and neighbours can now admire the modern architecture coming to shape. Installation of the glass panels that enclose the building is expected to be completed in September 2022.

Classic Series I
Classic Series I soars 38-storeys above The Well community, featuring a mix of one, two and three bedroom luxury suites, many with den options. Each balcony is shaped by a slightly different-sized polygon, giving the building its distinctive look. Inside, each suite is finished in contemporary style, a perfect backdrop for an enriched urban lifestyle.
Classic Series II.
Anchoring the southwest corner of the 7.8-acre community that is The Well, Classic Series II is a stunningly modern building designed to meld leading-edge finishes with comfort and convenience. Designed by architectsAlliance, Classic Series I and Classic Series II feature 400 and 258 luxury suites, respectively.
Inside, suites are being framed on the 28th floor of Classic Series I and on the ninth floor of Classic Series II. Framing is the installation of the metal studs (like the wooden 2 x 4’s used in low-rise construction) which mark the outline of the suite, and eventually become the walls.
As the suites are framed, trades doing the electrical, plumbing and HVAC are following closely behind on the 27th floor for Classic Series I and on the ninth floor for Classic Series II.
The amenity spaces at Classic Series I are also staring to take shape as the on-site teams work on framing and mechanical rough-ins. Framing of the amenities spaces at Classic Series II is expected to commence in August 2022.
The Well Canopy.
Recently, the construction teams at The Well celebrated another milestone with the installation the last piece of glass of the south archway, completing the final shape and form of canopy at The Well.
The canopy was actually assembled twice; first it was put together at its point of manufacturing in Germany, before being disassembled and shipped to Canada. The canopy is a distinct architectural feature of the community, sheltering a three-level outdoor shopping and dining environment to provide an open-air al fresco experience.
