Join Team Tridel for the 36th Annual Walk of Life

On Saturday, June 27th, 2020, Team Tridel and thousands of others across Canada are walking, running, strolling, or skipping (fun for ANY age) in support of heart health. A great way get outside and get active with the entire family, this annual walk helps support the ongoing work of the Cardiac Health Foundation of Canada.

This Year, The Walk of Life is Going Virtual

Participants can choose between a 1 KM, 3 KM & 5 KM Walk or Run of friendly competition in support of an important initiative that helps transform the lives of people suffering from heart disease.  It gives participants the opportunity to join in and support heart health, from anywhere!  Choose your favourite place for a walk and join in the fun.  This year, your registration fee includes a t-shirt mailed out to you, a warm-up video sent electronically, a certificate of participation and a live video of kickoff event with an information session on heart disease by Dr. Paul Oh.  Remember to share your pictures online and tag #WalkOfLife2020.

Walk of Life Helps Support Cardiac Rehabilitation

The walk aims to raise funds in support of over 25 cardiac rehab programs across Canada and cardiac health-related organizations, such as the University of Toronto’s Dr. Terry Kavanagh Heart Health Lab, Canadian Congenital Heart AllianceThe Canadian SADS Foundation, and the Mikey Network.

The Walk of Life has been supporting these initiatives and programs for 36 years and is one of the main fundraising events in the Cardiac Health Foundation’s yearly calendar.
