Our First Corporate Social Responsibility Report

Our First Corporate Social Responsibility Report

We understand that in today’s world, transparency is crucial.  That is why we are so proud to deliver Tridel’s very first Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Report.

What is CSR?  Strictly speaking, it is defined as the voluntary activities undertaken by a company to operate in an economic, social and environmentally sustainable manner.*  Essentially, being a corporately responsible company means that Tridel’s business approach is to build and give back in a way that is best for the planet and its people.

Founded as a family business by Jack DelZotto in 1934, we have grown to be one of the largest home builders in Canada. But we’ve never forgotten our roots; we still build homes for real people, in the communities we ourselves call home.

You have a choice when it comes to who to trust to build your home.  We encourage you to take a moment to look “behind the homes” and get to know Tridel better.  Discover why we partner with innovative companies to develop and test new technologies for your home and the construction industry as a whole.

We firmly believe that it’s not just fiscally beneficial to our customers to build homes that are environmentally friendly and sustainable, but also the right thing to do.

Because when it comes right down to it, it’s not about what we build.  It’s how we build that makes all the difference.

We thank you for your interest in Tridel and we hope you will download the full report and get to know us a bit better.  As always, we welcome any feedback.  Drop us a line at ask@tridel.com and let us know what you think.
