Seasons Greetings & Our Holiday Hours

Seasons Greetings & Our Holiday Hours

‘Tis the Season!

The holiday season is upon us and with it comes gatherings with friends and family, feasting on food, and the sharing of traditions.  It also happens to be one of the busiest times of the year, with lots to accomplish before the New Year begins.

If one of your New Year’s resolutions is finding a new home, you’re in luck!  The Tridel Presentation Centres will be open over the holidays.

You will find our holiday hours in the calendar below:

Looking for things to do with your family and friends over the holidays:

The Ontario Science Centre:

Located a short walk from our Auberge on the Park community, the Ontario Science Centre is open 364 days a year (it only closes it’s doors on Christmas day).  This museum is made to delight kids of all ages!  And be sure to take a closer look at Quantum: The Exhibit, which examines the world of particles, atoms and quantum mechanics.

The Art Gallery of Ontario:

Just steps from FORM in downtown Toronto is the Art Gallery of Ontario, currently exhibiting the powerful Anthropocene exhibit, which explores man’s impact on his environment. If you’re looking for an event suitable for the whole family, the AGO is also hosts Family Sundays, with activities for the entire family, in the Weston Family Learning Centre.

Ripley’s Aquarium:

A short walk from Tridel’s Ten York community, you can experience the joys of the deep at Ripley’s Aquarium.  If you’re not enjoying a week away somewhere warm, relaxing on a beach, a visit to Ripley’s Aquarium will let you escape below the waves for a little while.  The Aquarium will be operating on a modified schedule during the holidays but is also offering a host of activities – including Breakfast with Santa.

Skate the 8 in the 6ix:

Opening today, Friday, December 21st, the Bentway Skate Trail allows you to literally skate through downtown Toronto.  With its leisurely figure 8 design and its central location, this new attraction which opened last year, has quickly become a hit in the city.

Wishing everyone a safe and wonderful Holiday Season!
