It was a clear and sunny day in downtown Toronto when Ten York, Tridel’s tallest building to date, hosted it’s “topping off” party, to celebrate the installation of the community’s rooftop assembly. As you would expect for this “larger than life” community, the celebrations were also a sizeable affair.
Attendees, which included the architects, designers, consultants, and construction and project management staff who have worked on the creation and construction of Ten York, were able to tour the building, including a ride to the 55th floor, where they were treated to unparalleled views of the downtown skyline, including the Toronto Islands, Billy Bishop Airport, the Bayside community and beyond.
A tour of the lobby highlighted the impressive space, with soaring ceilings and mirrored pillars. Once complete, the lobby of Ten York will feature a stunning work of public art, which is already installed and waiting to be revealed.
Located at the corner of Lakeshore Blvd and York Street in the heart of downtown Toronto, Ten York was launched in October 2014 and was enthusiastically received. In fact, the community has quickly become iconic to Torontonians and is one of Tridel’s most photographed buildings.
Occupancy is expected to begin in April 2018.
