The subject site is municipally known as 567 Sheppard Avenue East within the Bayview Village neighbourhood. It is currently occupied by a 1 to 2-storey building comprised of the North York YMCA, a surface parking lot and a bus loop associated with the Bayview Subway Station.
About our Proposal
The YMCA of Greater Toronto and Tridel are proposing to redevelop the subject lands with a new 2-storey YMCA facility, and two residential towers at 45 and 55-storeys containing 1,179 residential units. The redevelopment will include a shared underground parking garage accessible from Bayview Avenue and Kenaston Gardens. This proposal would create a new YMCA space, on-site parkland dedication to extend the Kenaston Gardens Parkette and provide new pedestrian connections.
