Watch Aqualuna at Bayside come to life in real time.

Construction Update

Aqualuna, the final addition to Hines’ and Tridel’s Bayside Toronto waterfront community, is making remarkable construction progress. With peak height recently reached; the tower has officially "topped off" at 16 storey's, meaning the structural formwork is now complete. North and South hoists are fully operational, with tower cranes aiding construction until later this year, when they are scheduled to be dismantled.

The curtain wall system is under installation on the ground floor, while window wall systems are at the seventh floor. Balcony railings have started to appear on the building, providing a nice aesthetic touch. Exterior caulking has reached the sixth floor, while waterproofing efforts are in progress on the roof and private terraces. The exterior and demising walls are complete up to the fourth level, with work on the fifth underway. Internally, framing on the fourth floor is progressing, alongside electrical and mechanical rough-ins on the second and third levels, with dry-wall installation on the third level as well.

With permanent power, water, and gas now connected, Aqualuna is truly coming together. We're also taking steps to keep any disruptions—like traffic and noise—as minimal as possible. Our goal remains to welcome our first residents in 2025.

Aqualuna is shaping into a special place on Toronto's waterfront, blending urban living with the serenity of lakeside life.
