Construction Update - April 2025
There’s exciting progress happening at Queen Church, and we’re eager to share what’s taking place on-site.
With shoring complete and excavation nearing the third parking level (P3), construction is moving steadily into the next phase. The second row of tiebacks is now underway, and the crane is scheduled for installation in late May/early June. Once in place, forming will begin, setting the stage for Queen Church to rise above ground level.
We want to make you aware that Dalhousie Street will experience a temporary road closure to safely accommodate the crane installation in the coming months. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
While work continues behind the scenes, we’ve unveiled new hoarding that brings colour, culture, and storytelling to the streetscape, created in collaboration with local Indigenous artist Patrick Hunter. If you’re in the area, we invite you to stop by and experience this artwork in person.
