Construction Update - June 2026
Construction at Queen Church continues to make significant progress as the community rises above grade and begins to take shape along Toronto's downtown skyline.
Work is currently underway on the heritage tie-in, connecting the preserved heritage structure with the new building from the Ground Floor through to the 2nd Floor as construction advances. Forming activities are also progressing steadily, with the 2nd Floor slab currently being formed and walls and columns advancing toward the 3rd Floor.
Looking ahead, the installation of windows is tentatively scheduled to begin in Fall 2026, marking another exciting milestone as the building envelope starts to come together.
To safely accommodate ongoing construction activities, the City of Toronto has approved a temporary closure of the southbound lane and west sidewalk of Dalhousie Street, from Queen Street partway up the block. This closure remains in effect from September 19, 2025 to September 30, 2028.
We look forward to sharing further milestones as construction at Queen Church continues.
