Tridel Introduces The Innovation Suite at Ten York. 

Located on the 68th floor of Ten York, in the heart of downtown Toronto, Tridel introduced its new Innovation Suite.

A Voice Controlled System Control Panel.

The first thing you may notice as you enter the Innovation Suite is the sleek, wall-mounted system control panel. This centralized lighting, audio and window-coverings system is controlled by voice, phone or by touch and can be programmed according to your personal preferences – opening or closing blinds and setting lighting levels for certain times of day or even for specific events, such as watching a movie.  An ultra short-throw laser projector, offering 100″ of HD viewing and entertainment sits on tthe millwork directly below the screen, instead of hanging from the ceiling.   The design ensures a clean design aesthetic with a superior entertainment experience.

Smart Kitchen Design.

Designed for more than just visual appeal, the Innovation Suite is a demonstration of how smart design can be implemented alongside smart home technology, without sacrificing style, form or function.  The kitchen features the latest Noir series JennAir smart home appliances, including a column fridge which can be monitored and a convection oven that can be preheated, all though an app on your phone.  The kitchen faucet is touchless and can respond to commands, such as pouring specific amounts of water upon request.

Masterful Features.

In the Principal Bedroom, a glass partition goes from opaque to transparent with the touch of a button.  The glass wall offers residents a choice between creating a more intimate sleeping area or opening up the entire room to natural light.  The smart TV, camouflaged as a piece of art when not in use, is mounted above an electric mist fireplace, complete with flickering flames, which complete the atmosphere of a private enclave.  The stunning ensuite washroom is finished with a host of both aesthetically stunning finishes and thoughtfully appointed technological features.  Heated floors ensure a comfortable environment.  A smart mirror that can be voice-controlled and change lighting, a smart shower with voice-controllable water temperature and flow rate, and an AV-connected  VibrAcoustic bath which can use sound to vibrate the water in the tub for a luxurious-in-bath massage, are just a few of the feautres that complement the atmosphere of luxury and lifestyle convenience.

Uncompromising Design.

While integrating technology into the function of everyday living was a priority, the appearance of the suite still remained at the forefront, ensuring the Innovation Suite is both functional and beautiful. The bold, elegant interiors are modern, minimal, and refined, with the goal of inspiring wellness while being visually appealing. The warm wooden herringbone floors throughout the suite create a warm feeling of home and are coated in titanium oxide that is activated by light and motion, filtering and cleaning the air in the suite regularly. Large windows help bring in abundant natural light and evoke a feeling of connection to the world and outdoors, and the balcony features stunning views of Toronto’s beloved Centre Island.

The concept of the Innovation Suite began when Tridel started exploring smart home technology and its ability to enhance the convenience of condominium lifestyle for our customers.  Since our first successful launch of Tridel Connect at the Ten York community, which includes peace of mind features such as keyless entry, licence plate recognition and more, Tridel is continuing to explore the possibilities that technology has in creating a living environment that meets or exceeds the needs of our future residents.
