Tridel Earns OHBA Builder of the Year and Green Building Recognition for Aqualuna

At the 33rd Ontario Home Builders’ Association (OHBA) Awards of Distinction, held earlier this week in Collingwood, Tridel proudly came away with two awards: Builder of the Year for a remarkable seventh time, and the High or Mid-Rise Green Building Award for Aqualuna at Bayside Toronto, developed in partnership with Hines.

Aqualuna Recognized for Green Building Leadership

In partnership with Hines, Aqualuna earned the OHBA High or Mid-Rise Green Building Award, which celebrates communities that demonstrate innovation, sustainability, uniqueness of design, use of space, and functionality.

Aqualuna is the second tower within Bayside Toronto to win this award, following Aquabella in 2023. Targeting LEED® Platinum certification and Toronto Green Standard Tier 2, Aqualuna features advanced HVAC systems, energy recovery ventilation, balcony thermal breaks, and innovative water-saving technologies. These measures reduce carbon emissions, improve efficiency, and create healthier homes.
