Excavation Continues at Chateau

From the Ground Up

Chateau Auberge on the Park is under construction! After breaking ground in November 2020, the on-site construction teams have been working hard shoring and excavating, meaning they have started digging into the ground and putting the necessary supports in place for the newly excavated area. This area will be the underground parking levels of Chateau, and the team is currently working on the P5 level.

Chateau Forming

Chateau’s impressive 39-storey infrastructure will start rising above the beautiful ravines of the Don Valley this summer (2021). The on-site teams anticipate beginning forming, or pouring concrete, following the assembly of the crane. Forming is the process of laying out the structural components of each floor, including the walls and columns, before concrete is poured over-top, securing everything in place.

Chateau – Luxury by Nature

Chateau is the third and final opportunity to live in the midst of verdant parkland and stunning connectivity, steps away from the future Sunnybrook Park Eglinton Crosstown LRT station at Leslie and Eglinton. Chateau features high-end finishes and premium appliances making this community the perfect private retreat amid the natural beauty of the outdoors, with all the ease and convenience of living in the heart of the city.

Auberge on the Park – Community Masterplan

The Auberge on the Park community comprises three condominium towers: Auberge, Auberge II and Chateau. The community is surrounded by Toronto’s most exclusive North York neighbourhoods, and just steps away from numerous parks and nature trails, including the 147 acre Sunnybrook Park. Close to amenities, dining, shopping, and the upcoming Eglinton Crosstown LRT**, Auberge is a breath of fresh air in this midtown neighbourhood.

The Eglinton Crosstown light rail transit (LRT) project

Metrolinx is currently testing six of its LRT vehicles, and predicts the Crosstown LRT will be complete sometime in 2022. The line will make it increasingly convenient to travel around the city for errands, shopping, brunch or getting to work. Estimated to allow riders to travel 60% faster across midtown, the Crosstown LRT includes 25 stops between Kennedy in the east and Mount Denis in the west, and will connect to the TTC and GO.
